Where is blend door located on 98LSC

My 98 Mark VIII heater stopped working . Suspect blend door. where is this located, and is it hard to replace item ?

The blend door is somewhere behind the glove compartment. The dealer charged me $553 to fix it. The part was $45. One of the Mark VIII message boards has directions for this repair. I think it's at Lincolnsclub.org.
