will they work on the MK VII and will it make it easier to fit aftermarket wheels with that which notmaly don't fit due to the longer hub?

I put 5/16 (I think) spacers on my fronts to accomadate my black bullit rims, re-worked the caps and have had no prob. I also used 1" bolt on eibach spacers on the rear to bring out the back wheels and line the tracking, looks real cool, but at 160 km's I'm getting some vibration....I dont know if thats from the spacers or not(I think not)......Villain

Got 5/16 spacers on my rotors to accept the Mustang Bullitts on my car. No problems with vibration or anything.
