My first and perhaps last post is to let you good people know that I purchased 2 cars from the estate of Dallas Reagh. In the center console were some copies of some Lincolns on Line diagnostic tips and procedures. He must have used them, because the 1988 and the 1998 Lincolns that I bought are nearly perfect cars.

His wife told me he spent a lot of time taking care of his cars, and was aware of his postings on this web site.

KIA, as in "killed in action"? Both of them? Damn man, that sucks. What happened?

I guess welcome and good bye at the same time...

I've lost a good friend. :( :(

Dallas is gone?? What happened??

Chris, the tech tip you found may have very well been the one that Dallas wrote for us at Lincolns OnLine. As well as moderating for LoL for a bit he was a great help to many people here.

We will miss our friend. :(

Wait a sec..."LAS VEGAS LSC" was Dallas' user name here, I'm guessing? I remember seeing that name...

Damn, that's sad. :(

Dallas/LASVEGASLSC joined Lincolns OnLine early in 2002 and he wrote a nice article (CLICK HERE (http://www.lincolnsonline.com/article21.html)) for you guys based on his 14 years of experience owning his own brake shop.

So he's the one that saved my ass with my brake problems! What a shame, I hope his family is ok. :( :(

I can't believe I am reading this.

Dallas was a wonderful person and I will miss him terribly. I always looked forward to talking to him via email, this is a very sad day for me personally. :( :(

Thank you for writing, Chris.

He helped me out on my ABS problems as well. What happened to him and when did it happen?

Wow....That explains why I never got an answer when I posted up about wanting to
meet him while in Vegas. I knew something was up, but did not figure on this.

A true loss.

What happened? Even though I never talked to him, he was still a member of this family. And to see him go is truely sad and shocking.

I did notice his last post made was on Nov.5/04. His sig states (R.I.P. Dallas). Does someone else have his password and put that in? A little confusing I found.

R.I.P Brother. May you cruise through Heaven in your spiffy Lincoln smile.gif .

My ass farted my head back out about 5 minutes ago. It makes sense now.

Thank you Chris for posting. Whether or not you want to keep posting is up to you but part of Dallas' spirit will forever be entwined with those Lincolns. Take care.

Its times like these I really wish I knew what to say.

In a humble community like this you don't lose a member, you lose a friend, a family member, a comrade.

We've all had a great loss. If I had a glass, I'd raise it in his direction.

Look on the bright side. Those Lincoln's in the sky need a lot less maintenance..

I'm speechless and greatly saddened. Dallas was the perfect example of a great LincolnsOnline member. He was helpful, enthusiastic, and a great friend to all. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace and live out his dreams in the great beyond.

I'm real sorry to hear this, I've talked with him a couple times on the phone and he's been a huge help with me and my car and all on these forums. He orginally was from here in Ontario(?) too I believe. He will be missed...

Chris,
Thanks for updating us here.
Some people come and go from here all the time with out so much as a word, keeping some people wondering if there ok. It is good to know that someone would find it in themselves to pop in to clear up loose ends. I have hoped some one would do that for me if something ever happened.
Thanks! from the bottom of my heart.

I didn't really know him or converse with him but nevertheless, it's a terrible loss and my prayers go out to his wife and family. To lose anyone, especially at Christmas time is a wound that will take a lot of time to heal. A sad time for LoL. :(

I'm thankfull for the time he did spend with us on Line. I remember his postings becoming less frequent. Everytime he posted I remember his articulate straight no nonsense approach and sense of humor. And I love his address at IVOTEDFORBUSH.com.

Something he posted:

No internal parts..ever anywhere. AOD Garbage? No. and we all know they can easily be modified

He will be missed, but certainly not forgotten. His article and subsequent postings gave me the courage to dive into the mysteries of ABS. Adios.
