LOL Sorry Jonathan .... yes, you can stop looking and thank you for your trouble and time! :D
Brandon, johnny from Mass. found them and sent them to me. I think he got them out of a 92 or 93 Cartier ... they were a light grey color. I had sent away for a leather dye and it was a pretty close match ... I'm sure over time, the sun will do it's thing on them! smile.gif Installation was a snap ... un-zipped the back of the old armrest....peeled back the leather and foam padding to get to the 13/16 in. bolt and a few turns of the socket wrench, off and on in 10 minutes. Easy! Just remember to replace the inner plastic spacer and stop-bolt cap before re-installing.

Looks very good Jack but I'm oh so tired of hearing Venti Mocha Frappacino. I work in a grocery store with a Starbucks inside. I sit there on my breaks.
On second thought it aint that bad. Nothing like seeing hot chicks ordering cool drinks. Very delicious :D

What piece broke? I have a stop bolt cap, a plastic insert and two bolts from the old armrests .... Let me know. I can get them to you if you come to the meet next week.

Hizhonor,
Not dry ice?
Maybe you better switch from Marlboros to holders--smoking is bad for the lungs. Nice Job on the holders!

I quit smoking September 28, 1995 at 9:32 AM when my wife got me to the hospital after my first heart attack ... cold turkey. too. No patch, no nicorrette gum, no nuthin'.... just plain old stopped! tongue.gif
Thanks, Kathred..... I took my time doing the armrests/holders ... once you start dyeing them, there's no turning back! tongue.gif

jack, hold on to them for me. on another note, i was looking through the junkyard yesterday on my day off and found a mark vi with a mint condition red glove box (11 bucks), that plus a few other freebie parts made my day. I also saw at least 4 HO motors in lscs there.

Hizhonor,
Good idea----as both of us here have pull down armrests on the TC and a Tbird and no built in cup holders, maybe a local bone yard search should be made here. I note that (ours) both have fabric covers with a zipper----it didnt look easy to remove the covering --is that something that can be used over another frame, do you know? Also---I assume hopefully that other model years will transplant?

 These came out of a '92-93 Cartier .... and went into my '92 TC Sig. Series. My old ones had no fabric on them at all... all leather cover. Just a quick unzip on the back of the armrest to get to the bolt, a 13/16 socket and bingada bangada boom ... un-installed. I'm saving the old armrests as a "just in case" item! tongue.gif As I said in another part of the thread, they were silver/gray in color and I purchased a leather dye OEM Code MD ( Crystal Frost Blue) to get them to as close to the proper color as I could. I'm going to give them another few days before I put a conditioner on them. Hopefully that will darken them a little bit more. These, from the cartirs, have fabric on one side and the duye took care of that perfectly. After they dried for a couple days, I took a suede brush and brushed out the fabrick to take care of any matting that took place. Worked like a charm!
