As we ALL know, this site is one of a kind.
One of the reasons I love this place is the people (and calibre thereof) who post here.

It has always been a haven in an internet of smart-assed punks (of all ages). One can (usually) post up an opposing opinion or conflicting tech info without being "flamed" or harrassed. Lately there has been some infringement on the haven.

It is my opinion that if you are not able to disagree with someone in a respectful, mature manner, you need to go away until you grow up.

Thank You.

Armond

SOME conflict does make it interesting though. I think most people on this site have little squables and deal with it ok. Of course this site does have a higher class of regular users than most.
I've been not so regular due to boat season (20'Glastron/Carlson Jet with 460 Ford!!!) but do come back time to time and am glad to read the posts from everyone.
It's a great site!

I admire the people who post around the flaming in a thread. Particularly the thread starter who wants nothing to do with the petty bickering that's going on. All he/she wants is to solve their car's problem. Arguing is the last thing anyone wants. We're hear to help. Conflicting ideas cause confusion especially for newbies and before you know it, the thread gets diluted in name calling and other BS. Compared to other forums, this one here is gold (Thanks Kat). The simple setup and big hearted members put this one lightyears ahead of other "fancy smancy boards."

Ok Kat where's my kiss? :D

You may have noticed that the two Lincoln forums linked at Bakers Auto are:

Lincolns on Line (I would say for 1980+ vehicles)

and Classic Lincolns (for pre 1980 Lincolns).

Keep up the good work!!!

I'm still trying to figure out exactly where my Mark VI's fit in.

Fordace,
No. At the time I wrote my last post I was at home. This past Tue. night I started midight shift after being on vacation for 2 WEEKS!! AAHHH!!! This shift runs through Mon. night with Sat. and Sun. being 12 hour shifts (6:30PM-6:30AM YUK!).
Gotta pay the bills!
Good Vacation though. Started out on the 25th with my 40th B-Day Bash where we broke the hot tub and CD player. (E-bay parts and CD player already ordered and home). Then spent the first week in the boat....in the garage. July 4 the boat went in the water first time in 5 years! Put boat back in garage for some final adjustments and spent the 2nd week in the boat ON THE WATER!! Man can that thing go through the fuel!
5 more weeks till next vacation....I have to start playing those lotteries!
