Hey guys, whats a good stain remover I could use on white vinyl siding to remove motor oil stains? The side of the house its on has had oil on it for awhile and I'm not exactly sure how long its been there nor how bad the stain is. Thing is, there was a oil can that keeps used oil that somehow the cap got tossed off and the frequent rain filled it up and caused it to overflow onto the side of the house now theres a huge stain. Any ideas would be appreciates, thanks in advance!

1) Simple Green.

2) Paint.

3) New siding, then paint.

4) Seafoam.

I got some stuff from walmart called black streak remover. It is for the outside of campers. It is about $5 a bottle and works great. I just got done doing all my siding and gutters last week.

Yeah, that sounds like a tough one.

I'd try puting a thick layer of Fast Orange hand cleaner on it and letting it set overnight.
Then wash it of the next day with the garden hose or a pressure washer if you have one.

It should at least lighten it up a bit. May get more results if process is repeated.

Use 'Brake Cleaner', but don't use the 'safe', non-chlorinated stuff.
The cleaner has the exact same chemical used by dry-cleaners. Works great on fabric, not sure how so on vinyl siding. Worth a try, right?

Kip is right, I'd give it a try.
It seems to work well to remove oil from many things.
