What is AIM and how do I access it. I don't have a computer, just a Webtv set top box with dial up plugged into my TV set. Besides, I'm almost brain dead. :confused:

Thanks Pro, but I get a message that the item contains a type of information that can't be used. I guess that means I can't access AIM with my Webtv. So much for that.

Sorry I missed getting in last night. But I'm still wondering if maybe there might be two places. I was on Lincoln Chat Fiday nite with megaforce94 from the same link I put in months ago with Dakat.

I still wonder if there is another chat under Lincoln+Chat . ;)

v8Guy, Actually you can use 'Aim Express' This wont install anything. All you need to do is make a screenname and give them an email address to do this. (Doesnt have to be a good one whateveryouwant@hotmail.com works.. heres a link to aim express.

Click on Start, then click register and make a name. come back and use this link again to sign on. Hope this helps, if you can't get it working let me know, and I'll help you figure it out.

No, its Lincoln Chat. megaforcer was with me a few nights ago in Lincoln Chat, so we're in the same one. Use the new link if you're still curious. Its under 'Aim Chat!' for the topic I believe, started by me. No one's really in there unless its friday or saturday night, on occasion I check it out though, or start it up if a lot of people are online.

No, there isn't. There have been as many as 8 or 9 members in "Lincoln Chat" and everytime there is a chat it is in that particular room. I sign myself into them with "Lincoln Chat" so I know for a fact that it is the room everyone goes to.

for some reason the chat room does not show up when you do a search of aol chatrooms, probably have to send an invitation or a link to people that can't find it.
