I suspect that the recall list will eventually be expanded to cover all the years that carry that part.
Even then, I'm not sure I want to trust the new part.
I honestly don't ever use cruise control except for road trips out of town, which are rare.
I've disconnected the electrical connector to the speed control deactivator switch on my TC.
Put a nylon tie to keep it close and secure and capped the end of that always-hot connector with some electrical tape. ;)
For those looking to do the same, here's the location of the deactivator switch on the 95 TC and Mark VIII respectively.
Should be the same location for other years.
Btw, don't remove the deactivator switch or you'll have to bleed the brake line(at least on the TC).
Just remove the connector.

Thank you very much Franco. I was kinda wanting to do that myself until I get a replacement just to be safe and don't have my CD at work with me.
