2001 LS can't control A/C, stuck on AUTO and radio doesn't come on

Hello,

I'm considering buying a 2001 LS, I can get it for a great deal, but there appear to be some electrical issues. When you turn the ignition key the A/C starts blowing, but you can't turn it off adjust the temp or turn the fan down, the display only shows 60 and the unit is apparently stuck on AUTO. The radio also doesn't come on when you try to turn it on, it does however display the time.
Can anyone give me a clue as to what may be wrong, connection, relay, is this a common problem?

Please give me some input, I would greatly appreciate it.

just curious can you hear anything from the radio I had the same problem with the display. mine was a simple fix make sure the dash dimmer switch it turned all the way up.

Hello,

I can't hear a sound from the radio. I may just go ahead and buy it and go from there. I don't imagine this to be a very expensive problem to fix, hopefully.
