I have a 2000 LS Sport. I want to upgrade the rims to 18"s. I am concerned about the rims fitting. The stock sport package 17" rims look like they barley pass outside the brake housing. Did anyone have any problems in fittment? Also does anyone know the bolt pattern? Thanks in advance!

18s shouldn't be a problem at all. I have seen pics of LSs with 20s on them. Check out cardomain.com and take a look at the different LSs with 18-20 inch rims on them.

the sport package limits the selection of wheels, i would uggest visiting a rim shop and getting an idea from them, you can fit 18's but you won't be able to use all brands..

I HAD THE SAME TROUBLE FINDING WHELLS THAT FIT MY 2000 LS. THE BOLT PATTERN IS AN ODD ONE 5X108 SO YOUR SELECTION IS LIMITED.I DID PUT 18'S ON MINE BUT YOU CAN FIT DUBZ ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE TO HAVE A REALLY THIN TIRE PROBABLY A 35 SERIES WHICH CAN TAKE AWAY FROM THE SMOOTH RIDE.YOU CAN CHECK MY CAR OUT AT CAR DOMAIN.COM ITS LABLED 2-TIGHT 2K LS.

just for reference you can fit 21's w/ simple fender roll, so you could easily run a 40 series tire

Log onto http://www.tirerack.com to see the selections of quality rims available. Most of the cars on cardomain have 20" Rimms that look like a chicano mobile. I also have been looking at quite a few rims and I have determined that only the 18" rims will look good. I also have determined that the best looking after market rims for the car are the Moda R6 wheels as they look closer to the original OEM wheels than any others. i personally believe that the stock rims look best except for the Moda wheels and the Mille wheels which you can see at tirerack.com

I also suggest that you change the rotors as well as paint the calipers like i did. Otherwise the new wheels will not look very good with all that rust showing

if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all, simple as that, some of us dont care for the "dull" racing style rims
