hi!
i am new here and am from toronto
finally found a forum for my ls
yeah i got the v8, 3.9L eaton supercharged(well was)
i run really good last summer on 12psi(go figure i had an engine to blow up) without IC
and it i was shocked it was that reliable
anyhows lately the axle on my charger's pulley cracked so i need to get a new one
i had the m90, looking for the m112 with FMIC
and propably do a whole tranny swap with a getrag 6speed manual
i have got 13 inch brakes CDed
eibach lowering springs, stiff a hell shocks
and a conned air filter
the car runs really good and i DO think they have lsd, only from what i read here i was doubting it, even though the dealer said they had them.
the tranny is ok but still crap so i am looking to change it and will be getting forgged pistons in the winter along with the whole shabang.(i am out of warranty anyhows, so might as well go nuts)
i was able to keep up with the m5 last summer but on top end it had me due to the variable intake timing which i need

so since i am getting forgged pistons and can control my CR through that what would be better twin turbo or a huge ass charger
thanks in advance
Bess

There is no LSD, factory or aftermarket for the LS. It uses a 8" rear end similar to what Jag uses, so none of the stuff for Ford's 8.8" rear end fit the LS.

Saleen is supposed to have a LSD for the 2003 T-Bird, which is the same as the LS. But I don't know of anyone who has actually gotten a Saleen LSD, so it could be vaporware. Try calling Saleen and let us know what you find out.

As far as a blower vs. turbo goes, generally blowers are generally better for low end power while turbos are better at high RPMs.

It will be very expensive to put a 6 speed on your LS as the bell housing is different from any other Ford engine, which means you will have to custom build one.

McLaren was supposed to come out with a supercharged 6 speed LS, with Ford's blessing, but they dropped the poject because they could not get enough Lincoln dealers to sign up to sell the cars.

Some people have found places in MI who are selling out the McLaren parts inventory real cheap, like grilles and wheels, but I don't know if Mclaren has any of the parts left for putting a 6 speed in a LS.
