For those of you who may have to work on your own LS, I thought that I would tell you a little about door panel removal. Saturday at 12pm, the nice window regulator broke on mine and my dealership said, "Well, we would have to work you in, but it would be at least 4pm before we could get to you." So, after having a pissed-off fit, I went home and removed the panel and rigged it to stay up until I can go to another dealer that might have the time to work on it.
Panel is held on with the plastic retainers that all use but, there are some that you cannot get to with the removal tool. I used a long, flat screwdriver, and turned it popping them loose. Once inside, 4 11mm bolts will remove the regulator assy. I cut the cable and routed it back around the pulley so that it would move in the upward position holding it. Pretty basic once you get inside. I would hate to be hit in the side. There are no safety bars inside the door to prevent crushing passengers upon impact. Email if you need some help.

I'm waiting (& dreading) for the day one of my windows crashes. I know it is going to happen at the most in opportune time, like on a long trip. One of my rear windows was making bad noises when it closed all the way but it stopped making the noises the other day.
