I am planning to upgrade the 17 inch rims to 18 inch rims and tires. I would like to know if it will affect the suspension of the car. IS IT SAFE TO DO IT? Please help.

Yes you can. The LS club president did it on his car. Visit www.llsoc.com (http://www.llsoc.com) and check out the picture gallery. One member has even put 20 inchers on his LS!

Yes, you can do it very easily. The only question is how many potholes you encounter while driving your LS.
The sidewalls of a 18" or larger tire get awfully small and I have seen guys with 18s hit potholes large enough to bend a rim.
That is my only concern, but no matter what, larger wheels look great!

No Problem. You can add up to 21 inch! I have 20's. If you have the sport package however, selection is very limited due to bolt pattern

The bolt pattern is the same for sport and non-sport. I now have the 17" supersilver sport wheels on my non-sport.
