New to board...

I noticed that its pretty quiet in here...dead! Anyway, I'm new to this board, just purchased a 2000 LS V8 and looking for ideas, (as most are) for modifications. I'm coming out of a 2001 WS6 transam...big difference...but I love the luxo/power in this car. Hope to hear any ideas from you guys/gals. First off though, where and how much to upgrade intake and mufflers for this car? Thanks!

You're right, the LS section is a bit roomy and quiet.

I saw my first LS on a road race track last weekend. An LS against an LSC! Finally...after seeing about 10K BMW's from 318i to M1 on-track over the years.

I'm new to this board as well... in fact, I really can't join this board because "I" do not have an LS :( - my wife does !!!
But maybe she will let me borrow it for some SCCA rallies/meets - you might want to also check out => SCCA Solo II Texas Region @ http://autocross.com/texasregion/index.shtml
and www.LLSOC.com (http://www.LLSOC.com) - the Lincoln LS Owner's Club. I think there is an active club in Houston which is not too far from the Woodlands --- Nice are you live in! Stayed at the Club and played golf there a few years back - super facilities!

A couple friends of mine have LS's and are looking to get a local club started as well...Anyone in the area, (or out of the area) interested. We are looking to mildly modify these cars and hang out. Let me know if there is any interest.

BTW: It is hard as hell to find aftermarket items for these cars!

I haven't been able to come across that much aftermarket LS stuff for the LINKS page - if you do find more, be sure to let me know. And bring a few friends over - this forum needs some company! smile.gif

I'll tell them to get on this board...Does anyone know, if possible, where to get the foglight bulbs in superwhite. The high and low beams are easy...the foglights are hard to find.
