just bought a mark vii from auction.....no one can tell me what the keyless entry code is....is there a way to reset it?

Open up the trunk lid on your Mark VII, and look on the underside of the rear speaker shelf. You will likely have to remove the upper trunk trim to see it. In the center of the shelf, in between your rear speakers, there is a black plastic box with a white label on it. That white label has a five digit code written on it. That five digit code is your "Keyless Entry Code". That same code is also more commonly found (and also commonly REMOVED) from a small white sticker located on the passenger side trunk hinge. Look there first, if it's not there, look on the black box under the speaker shelf. If the label was removed from the box, let me know, I will send you a replacement box with the code on it, and you can swap it out. I've got a few extras laying around you can have.
