About a week or so ago I started to notice a noise (cluncking like noise) coming from the front left and right wheels. It hapens when going over bumps or holes. If I can remember correctly, there was a topic like this that metioned something about the sway bar, Link, Stabilizer Bar, or something like that. can someone plese tell me what I need to change/fix. I have a picture on the entire from Suspension parts but there is nothing that says sway bar and such.. Please help..

My car is a 2000 LS V8..How can I add a picture of the suspencion parts in here so that you all can tell me what part is what?

Most likely sway bar links and or bushings.... or both not to hard or expensive to fix...

How many miles do you have on your car?

Possible bushings have gone from sway bar or it could be the top of the strut mounts have worn out.......

My car just reached the 76000 miles.. I have the picture of all the suspension arts but none are named sway bar links and or bushings....

What is what... I will send you the picture...

Hey Alex,
Unless anyone else has posted something like this, I was the one who originally posted the problem. Believe it or not, I have been too busy to be able to tear into it. I'm putting my 5.0 mustang back together after putting in a windage tray (had to remove the k-member to remove the oil pan). I want to have one running car if I can. Let me know what you found out...and if you can, please forward any pictures you took or received.
Thanks.

VEEERY interesting. My 2000 was just in to the dealer yesterday after I also had an increasingly bad suspension rattle while driving on my (somewhat rough) brick street. Dealer ended up calling it an upper control arm...and said it was a warranty item! :)
Car has 30K...warranty up next week...which is why I decided to bring it in.
