I just got myself a 2000 lincoln ls w00t. I noticed that the newer ls's have a white and red pattern for the brake lights as compared to the all red brake i have on my car. I was wonderin if any knows if they are interchangeable

I am fairly sure that they are interchangeable, as I have seen them on older LS's... there may be some minor modification involved but I doubt it.

03+ LSes came with the two-tone lights. the 04 LSE went back to all red.

all Pre-03 LSes came all red taillamps.

Only the quarter panel lamps are the same size and interchangable between the years - but the 03+ have a flat surface and the pre-03 have a 'ribbed' surface - not a perfrect match.

However - the rear taillamps on the trunk lid are different sizes between 03+ and pre-03, as Lincoln changed the layout of the trunk lid in 03.

To get the right match I purchased a set of rear taillamps - the two quarter and two trunk lid - that were made for the LS offerred on the Japan LS only.

you can get them now at LSKoncepts.com

Anyone know if there is a all clear replacement available?

or something else besides the two tone or red type?
