Door Speakers

I know many people switch their factory door speakers out for 5.25 speakers, but will 6.5 speakers fit in the doors? Also do u think it would be worth the effort to upgrade the small 3.5 speakers mounted in the center console?

The doors are 5x7 - so I believe 6x8 will work.

I upgraded mine to Alpine SPS-570A 5"x7"/6"x8" 2-way.

I also upgraded my console speakers to Fosgate Punch FRC3203 - 3.5" 2-way. It does make a difference as those speaker add 'presence' to you sound.

any decent 5x7 or 6x8 will be a great improvement!
I recently swaped my front doors with 5x7's from crossfire for less then 80 bucks, WOW they sound nice.

I'm puting in 6x9 pioneer's in the rear deck this weekend. I'm disconecting the rear doors and extending the wires to the rear deck.

I'll replace the factory deck and add a +50 watt x 4 crossfire amp into the mix later this summer.

I'm thinking of the Kenwood double din touch screen dvd / nav for the dash. :D
