low washer fluid

My system keeps telling me that I have low washer fluid. Its completely full! Where is the sensor that measures the amount of fluid in the tank? I can't see it around the pour hole. Does anyone know?

It is probably located toward the bottom of the washer bottle. I have heard that sometimes the float will get saturated with fluid and not float correctly.

More than likely the Washer Fluid Level Switch has gone bad. It is connector C138 and is located on the washer bowl. I'd suggest contacting the dealer or get a hold of Torrie with Ford Parts Network at torrie@fordpartsnetwork.com.
