Hi guys. its been a long time since I've been here but had to chime in. I wasn't sure if I should post this here because I didn't want to be accused of trying to advertise crap. If there are any of the old gang from when I was origanally on this sight I'm the guy who has three 2000 LS's in the family. so every mistake I made was times three. So I have to share- I put Bendix pads on all three cars. I love Bendix on all my cars but on LS thet were squeeling all the time and my rims were always dirty. I foud a replacement called Wagoner thermal quiet. No dirt no squeel I have replaces two of my LS's so far and they've been great. The only thing is in the directions that comes with them about there patented design crap it sais not to apply any silicone to the back of the pads or they may squeek. don't buy that use a little silicone(aka break quiet) and wipe off the excess. I hope this helps any of you. because I've been trying it all. Nice to talk to you guys again now that my computer works.

wonderful as always. I can only say always because of my obsesion with perfection in my cars and the years on this sight. I havn't logged in in over a year and the problems people are discussing are of the nature of the same nine problems the LS has. so rarely a new one. My favorite is when someone starts calling the LS a poorly made US ford product when the truth is that lincolns finish #4 on long term reliability over 7 year studies. I believe what is so frustrating is that the Lincoln service departments suck big time. NOT the mechanics-Managment. I have to say of my three and a conti my father has, every problem ever to occurre has been posted time and time again on this sight and has a TBS issued from ford. Yet every one When I called the dealership they had never heard of the problem(not truthful or idiots its never clear). Like recently one of the LS's developed torgue converter shudder. I descussed it breifly here when I saw someone else had complained about it. through this sight I found that the navigater was recalled for torque converter shudder and all it needed was differant type of fluid. Same Tranny as the LS . I changed it and everything was fine. Dealer told me I needed a new tranny. I saw a currant long going thread yesterday about the on going problems with fuel pressure and it reminded me of pumps and secondary pumps going bad and no-one could figure it out. But years ago everyone had problems during fueling because the soliniod valves that switched from side to side and vented pressure and fuel fuemes through the engine were bad and eventaully were killing other componants( like fuel pumps). Any way I love this sight and could go on and on. I have always worked on my own cars and through the comunicataion of this sight we are ahead of dealer mechanics. Love you guys.
