any ideas on which brake pads to get for less dust ? or cover s ? after 2 years of cleaning , i m tired... dealer want s 600 bucks for less dust pads, but no guarantees.

Get a set of ceramic pads. I used EBC Greenstuff pads on my mom's Continental and it stops quicker and has reduced dust levels. I am not sure what else is available. I thought I heard Wagner's Thermoquiet pads were cheap but pretty good at reducing dust.

thanks for reply, i m going to look around for ceramics, and check with dealer if what he s proposing to use is ceramic.

Odds are the dealer will only recommend the Ford parts he stocks for the vehicle, and I doubt they are ceramic. smile.gif

got dealer to replace all 4 rims, but not the pads, they want ed 600 bucks.. pads are ford, but not ceramic, dealer said they ve installed rotor shields with no problems. but customer supplied so no liability i guess.
