Hello, I have a 99 Navigator that the rear end has dropped. Doing some research on line it seemed that the suspension relay would be the first thing to go bad; I bought one yesterday and it does not work. I hot wired the plug for the relay (A&B) and I hear the compressor in the front turn on but unfortunately the rear does not move. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In order for air to enter/exit the individual air springs, the solenoid valves at those corners must be open. Starting the compressor without opening those solenoid valves immediately after the compressor starts will do nothing except create more wear & tear on the compressor. The individual solenoid valves opening & closing on the rear are controlled by a single height sensor mounted at the rear axle. The height sensor sends input to the air ride controller, which in turn controls the compressor and individual solenoid valve openings.
