Have an 04' with the Alpine 6 disc changer.
Planning on adding a subwoofer to my system and keeping the rest stock, I know the aviator has a sub, but its pretty puny. Any ideas what I will need to send the input to my amp? An adaptor, or does the stock alpine have outputs? Can't find any info on the stock stereo and don't want to have to take the dash apart to find out.

Thanks in advance, I love my aviator, its the nicest car I've ever driven.

Welcome fellow Aviator owner. Its a pretty impressive truck, no?

If you are just gonna put a different woofer and use the stock amp, you can probably just cut the harness in the enclosure and put universal blade connectors in its place. Drop a new sub in the same location. As far as I know there are no universal sub boxes for the Aviator like there are for the 1991-2001 Explorer.
