The Drivers seat on an 04 Gator will get stuck in the full back position. This has occured a number of times. The Lincoln dealership says it's because I drive in the farthest back position and it is jamming the system. I say BS!
The seat will move up and down, but not front and back. It will start working for a while and then quit again. Has anyone else experienced this?
NO there is nothing under the seat.

Hmm, this reminds me of a problem I have with my Aviator. My seats rock back and forth when you hit the gas real hard. (that was my problem I complained to Ford) They said it was normal. I can guess its because in the event of an accident, the seat will keep you from sliding under it and forces you to stay in front of the airbag. (they are called anti-submarining seats)
It might be possible that when the seat is all the way back that this wiggle feature gets locked and messes everything up, but I doubt it.
Go to another dealer, if possible. When the seat is working again, try keeping it just one notch ahead of the farthest back position.

Thanks I'll give that a try. We are moving to Lake Hamilton in FL, so I will try a dealer there.
