Hello, any body know, or have an educated guess as to how many "Kittyhawk" editions were made. I have seen one other, and that owner said less than 1200, accurate or does anyone have a clue?

I know it is less than 5000, don't remember exactly. I have the kitty hawk brochure, I think it listed production numbers.
Considering the Aviator didn't sell too well in 2003, I bet this limited edition didn't go into a second run of production, so maybe 1200 units is accurate.
Whenever I dig up the brochure I'll post it here.

I dug up the brochure (one page flyer is more like it) and it doesn't list production numbers. :( It talks about the special features of the Kitty Hawk (which you already know) and stuff about the airplane and its historic annivarsary.
Considering the Aviator wasn't selling well in 2003 I doubt they made more than a 1000 of those Kitty Hawks. We almost got one that had been sitting on the lot for months but it was sold before our lease ran out. Probably a better thing, they rolled out better discounts for the 2004 model (to boost sales) by then anyway. smile.gif
