Hi Guys,
This is my first post.
I bought a '95 Mark about 4 months ago and it's been great, I love it. About a month ago when I would try to put the drivers window down it would be hesitant and then go down or sometimes would only go down halfway and then get stuck. Now it doesn't go down at all which stinks, especially if I go to the drive up at a bank or for food. Does anyone know if there's just some simple little thing I could do to get it working again or do i have to replace the motor? Thanks ;)

It is either the power window switch or the motor. You need a shop manual to test the switch. Odds are the motor is bad.

I had a motor go bad on mine and got a new one from Autozone. ($60, lifetime warranty, appears to be very high quality, half the price of the Ford dealer)

Swapping the motor is real easy. Go to the TECH section and look at the power window motor replacement section. NOTE: you do not need to drill anything on the Mark VIII, the window motor bolts are exposed and pretty easy to remove.
