Hi Guys!
I'm having a problem with my driver side window buttons on my '95 Mark VIII. They don't work, they did when i bought the car a few months ago but slowly over time would work and not work and now do not at all. I know it's the buttons because the passenger side window works perfectly with the passenger side button. So my question is..... does this sound like a easy cleaning of the contacts in the buttons? Also to take off the interior driver door panel, what's involved, where do i start to remove it. Is it difficult to put back on??

Just a curious Mark VIII lover. :D

No need to take the door apart. The switches come out will a little prying from the front, you unscrew them from the back with a phillips screwdriver, and then pop the switches off the assembly and clean them with electrical contact cleaner (Radio Shack) or with a pink eraser.

I did a little cleaning with the eraser when I changed my power window motor, and now both switches work great. For some reason that did the trick! smile.gif
