I have an aftermarket ASC sunroof in my 95 Mark. The roof stopped functioning and only the ASC light would light.
I contacted ASC Tech. and after explaining the symptoms was told the module was malfunctioning and need to be replaced.
$195 dollars later with a new module the sunroof reacted exactly the same.......ouch.......no sunlight on my face! I then called ASC tech again and was told it could be the switch. $45 dollars later the roof opens and vents but does nothing when the close button is pushed.
Any experts out there who can shed some light on the subject.By the way both fuses are intact.
Thanks in advance.

The switch or its connections are bad. Make sure all connections are tight and clean.

Get a new switch from ASC and make them pay for shipping...they made you waste $195 when they SHOULD have told you how to diagnose its operation with a voltmeter. That's what tech help is all about.
