Hey all, I've been looking at 1997 and 1998 LSC's. I found a real nice 1997 but I really want to hold out for a 1998. Does anyone know if there were any differences between the 97's & 98's?
Thanks,
Steve

There are some minor differences in the cars but are realitvely the same. I think the 98 had the 1-2 accumulator piston update from the factory; from the outside you can't tell them apart. The 97 is just a year older and not the last year of production.

Those parts are in the transmission and often cause problems. It costs about $140 to $180 to have your trans serviced and those parts changed. The service should include a new filter and refill with Mercon V.
