ghost in my door locks

im sitting in traffic all of a sudden the door lock started making the noise as if they were being activated :eek:

Could be that water has gotten into the keypad on the outside and is shorting it out. I have heard of it before, and my car now is able to unlock the doors and open the trunk if it sits out in the rain (which is really, really inconvenient)

Has never happened to me when I was in the car, though.

Is the door ajar warning coming on while this happens? A common problem on Marks (though I never had it) is that the latch gets dirty and the car think the door is open (or closed) all the time. That could be causing the problem.

Or maybe the AutoLock is on the blink?
