I have a 1995 mark VIII and i want to know how to know if it is an LSC or not. I know in the 96, 97, 98 have a 92 in the VIN if is an LSC 95's do not have this encoding, is there another way to find out For ex. when i enter my VIN into carfax its says its an LSC and when i got an estimate on some paint work it also said LSC. There is no LSC badge on it.

3.27 rear gear ratio and "True" Dual Exhaust.
and 10 more HP (because of the exhaust)Also a late in the year build date helps qualify, 95 LSC's were early 96 LSC's. I's hard to pedigree a 95 LSC....

Damn good question...some one told me a while ago!!
I forgot....I think the seat's are also different...they have the little pin type holes ..
I have 95 also...with the cut out in back for exhaust.
I 'am going to try and call my local dealer "Lincoln" these guys a pretty good..

Mark VIII LSC

290-horsepower
Euro-perforated leather seating
Sport suspension tuning
Higher axle ratio (3:27:1)

I think it should have an LSC badge on it somewhere . . . the spoke wheels were usually standard on the non-LSC; directionals were the norm on the LSC.
