Just to see if there is anybody out there...I recently took my teenaged son to the local 1/8 mile track and we each made several runs in “his” 91 Mark VII LSC SE just to see what a totally stock Mark VII would run. The best either of us could muster was a 10.4 at 68+ mph with a 2.4-ish 60-ft time. So if any of you guys who have “track tested” your Mark VII’s, let’s hear what your short times were (660 foot or 1/8 mile). Using a conversion chart this equated to about a 15.9 at 85 mph in the quarter which sounds about right. This was with absolutely no mods or tricks, not even playing with timing or tire pressure. Let’s hear some times and would you did to “enhance” them.

P.S. Glad to see you back on the net http://www.lincolnsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif .
