Have 88 Mark VII with 347. Want to heat drag radials at track.
Question is.... How to prevent rolling forward while frying the tires. The car has
anti lock brakes. Vendors don't recommend
line lock with this brake system. Any comments would be appreciated.

Simply heel and toe the brake and throttle. Have you never done a standstill burnout? It's easy as riding a bicycle. I can easilly create a large cloud with my puny Ranger pickup. Bring it over, I'll gladly show you how. The anti lock brakes don't have anything to do with it but I'd recommend pulling the fuse anyway. Good luck.......

Yeah, I'd avoid the line lock too. Do what Mad says, press the brake and gas together. I noticed that my car launches well with getting the revs up to 2200rpm with this brake torquing
That's what's best for an automatic car, burnout or launching. If you can get a good technique with your car on drag radials you'll probably out launch most 5-spd Mustangs.

What pressure do you use in your drag radials at the track? I've found 20 psi to work best for me but I'm still experimenting.

Try starting at 20psi and drop it to 16 if needed. This is what I have seen with drag radials and what has worked BEST for my brother's Mustang.
Good luck!
