Most of the time, a unlevel Town Car is the result of sagging front coil springs. But there is a way to either level the front end....or just pain out get it closer. Some models have a front body mount that can be adjusted. After loosening the 18mm bolt that goes through it, you can "step-up" the mount to around 1/2".

Turn off suspension switch, jack up front of car as high as safely possible, place tall jackstand underneath body(right next to bolt going through body mount), lower jack SOME. you don't want all the cars weight on the jackstand, but just enough to take the weight off of the body. When you do that, you can turn the bottom half of the mount counter-clockwise and the top half clockwise(you'll understand when you see it). It has teeth that you can feel click. Put it on the last tooth and tighten down the 18mm bolt. You now know a secret that most professional mechanics don't know!

If you do this on a properly leveling TC, will the rear air springs compensate and make the car level again? Or will the front be higher then the rear?

Just wondering how smart the air springs are.....

the Town Car has air springs only in the rear.
Antime you raise or lower the front end, the rear will move a little. Remember though, the rear of a town car is a 1 channel system(1 sensor) so the module probably won't even notice a difference.

Measurement is the key to getting good results. EXAMPLE: If you measure all 4 corners(1/2" is out of spec), and say the difference between the front wheels is 3/4", and the difference between the rear is 5/8", you would do the front because 1)its worse than the rear and 2)adjusting the front may bring the rear into specs.
