Just wanted to know has anyone experienced acceleration trouble in a '00 Navigator? I have 40,000 miles on it and it just started missing badly when I push the pedal. I dont think its the transmission because my rpms remain the same,So if anyone can knows what could be going on please post. thanks :confused:

An engine miss is usually ignition system related. You might have a couple of bad coils or a wire somewhere.

Isn't your Nav still under warranty? Take it in and make sure they check the ignition system. smile.gif

Pro-five-oh you were right on the money!! I had a bad coil on #4 cylinder thanks for posting your reply.

Just luck-ya bum ! :D
Especially if the cover allows oil to leak into the plug/coil chamber.
