I've got a 1999 Navigator 4X4. Is replacement of the front and rear shocks a DIY job?

If so, any tricks to the front air shocks?

If so what brands are recommended?

I'm not sure on the level of work involved, but if you want better handling, Bilstein shocks have a special valve that stiffens the shock when cornering but allows it to be soft over bumps. Any of the high end shocks will be a good choice really. Koni, Tokico, KYB, etc.
