My engine wines real loud when its at idle and then when i press the gas it gets even louder. at first i thought it was low power stearing fluid but i checked it and it's at the perfect level. Does anyone know what this could be, and how i can fix it.

Well I guess the first thing I can ask is where is the sound coming from? front of the motor? rear? top? Bottom? If you have a long screwdriver then you can place the tip of the blade on different parts of the engine and place your ear on the handle. it will magnify and single out parts of the engine and belts drive so it will be easier to find.
Past experience tells me it is a bearing on the serpentine belt drive, as in Alternator, Idler / Tensioner pulley, Water Pump. Start in that aria and then move toward the transmission bell housing.

Look at the serpentine belt and see if there are little shiny specks imbedded in the groves. If you live in a sandy environment, belts are prone to collecting grit and small grains of sand and that can cause a chirp or squeal. You can test that by removing the belt from the drive pulleys and seeing if the sound goes away

thank you that sounds like it could be it becuase the roads have been getting covered in salt instead of plowed so maybe some of the slat/sand got in there.

I found a little trick to check the belt, Take a bar of soap and very carefully place it on the belt as your car is running, it will take the noise away temporarily.

Ahh yes, the ole soap to belt method.
An oldie but a goodie. Have a few travel-size bars in my garage for that very purpose.
Just don't ever use spray-on "belt dressing", that's stuff is total crap. You'll be creating problems instead of solving them.

Thank you franco, I was thinking that but I didn't post it
Belt dressing actually hurts belts because it raises the internal temp of a belt and will shorten the life of a belt.
My thought on the subject is
(If it needs belt dressing it needs replaced)
