I'm wondering if anyone knows what size speakers to get for the doors and rear. also i'm wondering if there are supposed to be speakers in the dash because there are none in mine. which brings me to my final question are there wires already to the speaker locations on the top of the dash or would i have to run them myself?

any help is appreciated thanks in advance.

Try Crutchfield.com they have most of the specs. What is the year of the car?

We need to know what year and what audio system you have from the factory.
The JBL systems make things complicated.

i have a 91 and i'm not shure what system it has from the factory as the person i bought it from wasn't the brightest and didn't really have anything on the car except an owners manual which is universal.
otherwise the guy had nothing.

In your first post you asked about replacing speakers in the front doors and rears. You also wanted to know if it had dash speakers from factory. So you want to do 3 sets of speakers. The factory system is putting out only 4 channells of audio without dash locations. adding another set might not be easy with the factory equipment. Assuming you want or need 6 channells.

I'm trying to get an idea of what your goals are in this installation and what you have now. Is your system currently all stock or have some components been changed already? How much of the system are you changing to after-market?

I'm curious as to why your pushing to use the dash locations. If your trying to do a 3-way set-up on a single front channell set, that's a pretty good upgrade. smile.gif

i'm jsut trying to upgrade the whole system. speakers face everything. and i was wondering about the dash because i found an ohhhh so nice pair of infinity tweeters in my base ment the other day  . I pretty much want to get my system very very load. and i just need to replace the speakers and face or whole unit. i also have a box that can hold 2 6 inch subs and it has 2 200 watt amps on it.
