ok, i just bought a sweet 98 lincoln t/c executive. it has all the toys i could ever want. except a cd changer. if i bought the ford cd changer (sdc-f100-1i), from crutchfield. how do i install it? i mean i want to keep the factory head unit, and i haven't even looked for cables in the trunk yet. so do i just plug it in and mount it? im not gonna pay $80/hr or whatever it is at the lincoln dealer if thats all it is. ive done upgrades on all my other cars, but they were all "pos" and i want this to be nice. so please help me out here. thank you. email me back @ honda_frj4@yahoo.com (old car was a honda)

Welcome aboard! Glad to see another convert from the dark side. ;) First, check for wires. If they are there, then you should be straight forward with pluging in a cd changer. I would recommend getting one from a junk yard, they are probably cheaper there.
If there is no cd changer wires, there are other ways to add one. Crutchfield has ways of connecting a changer through your existing stereo without wires, using the bottom of the FM band. And if you are looking to save money, go with www.etronics.com. (http://www.etronics.com.) Or, if you are willing to fight with them, www.sounddomain.com (http://www.sounddomain.com) has a 105% lowest price promise.
