91 continental cdplayer

one of my friends just bought a 91 continental & he is going to put a cd player in it. now i remember with mine i had 2 have the cd player wired directly to the speakers...is he going to have to do the same thing?

No you will need a wiring harness metra number 70-5514. The power and speaker connections go up front, The amp is in the trunk, i believe driver side and the amp bypass harness plugs into both sides and bypasses it, problem solved.
