Anybody know where I can get my seats re-upholstered up here in Toronto, Canada?
What kind of $$$$ am I looking at?
Or should I try those leather repair kits (do they work) ?
Also, anybody have any recommendations on a good and reasonable shop to re-paint my bumpers which are a bit scratched up? My paint colour is Opal Opalescent (pearl white) and am told it is a hard colour to match.

If this is a factory color the body shop should be able to match it very well, they can just go off of the original color option code and match it from that.Find a reputable shop near you and run it down there and they will get the paint code off of your car and give you an estimate, always good to get a couple of estimates.

I'd suggest checking out the local car shows, I know we have a few that are weekly gatherings, and just chat with the people there about what shops they use and you'll get both the good and bad from them.

My leather seats are also very worn and cracked. Can anyone point me to some seat covers? Preferably some nice comfy ones that aren't in leopard skin. :D And also, is there a way to put in different head rests? I like to ride with my seats tilted waaaay back but then the headrest is so far back (even when angled all the way forward) it's uncomfortable and my neck gets sore. I'd like to put in something that has more padding.

Puff I would not suggest being reclined to far in your seat, it is hard on the upholstery as well as the frame of the seat.
Your body tends to slide down the seat and put unusual stress on the seat bottom from your butt moving in a continuous forward motion, as well as putting excessive downward stress on the frame of the seat causing stress cracks and broken pivot points on the hinges of the seat.
If you do feel the need to recline that far I would suggest having a spare set of seats.
I guess I can just say it the way my Dad used to put it to me “SIT YOUR BUTT UP IN THE SEAT AND QUIT SLOUCHING! Or I will slap you along side your frickin head!”
And don’t make me turn around and tell you again!
Oh no I am having flashbacks of my childhood. Somebody make it stop!

Thanks for bringing that up Steve.
Thought I had buried those memories long ago.
Hey at least you got a warning.

Not only is it bad for the seat, it's bad for you! You have terrible whiplash protection. Sitting up correctly in the seat also allows you to react more quickly. Notice no racing seats are ever in pimp mode.

Not to mention the more reclined you are, the less effective the seat belt is.
If you use your seat as a Lazy-Boy, you're bound to slide under the belt in a serious head-on collision.

Alright, I have bad posture and I'll get whiplash but those are the casualties of being a P I M P. :D But really, can u replace the head rest and what about good seat covers??

Seat covers I guess you can have them reupholstered but I would say honestly don't spend a bundle on covers because as I said about your back and butt sliding down or just applying constant pressure. As long as you “pimp” you will ruin any seat cover you install so unless you have dollars to throw away. www.saddleman.com (http://www.saddleman.com)
They have a lifetime warranty. They will run you about $100.00 a set and take 3 weeks to get them. They are good and worth looking at the web site.
Let me know when you get in a car wreck total out your car and become a pimp with a real limp or worse yet paralyzed. Can I have them if you don’t get to much blood on them.

Hey Steve, thanks for the info. But I really don't know what those last two sentences were about.

I was getting at, if you persist in laying down PIMP style when you drive, you will inevtably be in an accident.
I would hope that isn't the case but driving in that position it is much more likely to happen.
When it dose you will shoot right under your seat belt and under your dash possably breaking both legs or ankles if it is a head on collision. Or shooting in to the backseat possably breaking your neck on the back of the rear seat.
I just thought you could think of me when you write out your will and give me the seat covers when you go to that great pimp daddy in the sky, or what ever you believe in for an after life.
providing you dont bleed all over them.
Really not ment to sound like a jerk just trying to reenforce the fact that if you ride PIMP style you will get hurt and I hate to se that happen. :(
