Mk VII Grill

At the top center of the grill is a small indentation with MKVII in foil(?).
Was there a pice of clear plastic to protect the logo and ride flush with the surface that gets lost or stolen?
And is this available, or being reproduced by anyone? :confused:

There should be a plastic cover over the foil. If you are missing yours, you need to find one off a junkyard car. However, you might be able to make one out of Lexan. If you bevel all the outside edges and leave the back face that touches the foil flat, you can get a stock look. It'll be tough to do though. I hope you find a solution! :(

I've replace that piece several times on different vehicles, it does make a difference.
It's a dealer item. You may find one locally, or you can order one from parts.com.
I believe Central Lincoln Mercury is showing some in stock.
