I found a set of Marchal fog lights in the junk yard months back. The lenses are pretty bad from road sand. Is there anything I can use to polish them to a better state? I'm thinking of using them on my car while I save the original set. Anyone have spare parts to these?

I think the Eastwood Company makes a 2-stage glass polish. I saw it on some TV show where they refinished the windshield on a beautiful '57 Pontiac.
I'd recommend my headlight polishing trick from the TECH section first. Try a small area, I bet it will work great.

After looking at the costs, refinishishing a set of fog lights isn't cheap. Here is my projected costs if I follow through with this:
$20 for beat up set of lights found in yard
$15 for glass polishing compound
$2-$3 for buffer wheel for drill
$6-$8 paint
$10 plastic repro Marchal cat emblems
$10 for bulbs
$X Cost of spare parts to replace bad light internals
Total cost = >$50  I can't believe this. It's almost worth it to buy a good set off eBay and save yourself the work! I'll sideline this project for a while... Thanks for the help anyways guys!

i scatched the rear window directly behind the driver's window with a file (bondowork). it didnt dig in, just marred the surface. Would this glass ploishing stuff work, or would a high speed buffer and normaal car paint polish work?

I would bet the scratches are a little too deep to polish out if you hit them with sandpaper that you using to finish your bodywork.

hey nick, if you want to sell those beat up foglights let me know. mine were never replaced when someone else wrecked the car, and its just wrong for an LSC not to have foglights.

The lenses are cracked on both of them now. I got a set of Cibie Airport 35s to use as daily driver lights until I get a set of Marchals when I want the car to be a show vehicle. The Cibies are essentially marchal lights with different lenses. They are still being made, so you can get parts to them. :D If you search for them online, you will find their US distributor web site.
Check out the glass polishing kits at Eastwood Company. I bet that scratch can come out.

I meant the Cibie Airport 35s are still being made and thus parts are still available. You can use Cibie parts in Marchal lights as they interchange. The Marchal covers will not fit over a Cibie lens, but a Cibie cover is available.
I found reproduction plastic Marchal logos online from someone who makes them as a moonlighting business. I am not sure of their quality though. I just checked their site and it seems to be out of service. www.darkstormdesigns.com/lincoln/index.html (http://www.darkstormdesigns.com/lincoln/index.html)
