Mirrors

has anyone tried using mirrors off a mustang?
I think it would be pretty cool looking but thats not why I ask. I need to get new mirrors to get my car legal and cant find any Mark VII's in the scrapyards :mad:
Will any other mirrors fit?

I believe that the Mark VII mirrors are unique to themselves. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If you're willing to pay for the parts and shipping, I may be able to make a daytrip and locate a few mirrors in good shape for you. We have a junkyard up here with 3 Mark VII's, about 50 miles out. Something I could look into... or keep your eyes on E-Bay.

thanks for the offers guy's, but unfortunatly shipping these mirrors to hawaii is probly more then its worth, but let me know what zipcodes ya'll are from and Ill check.

83-88 Thunderbird and Cougar mirrors fit, so do most Ford Tempos and Mercury Topazs.

They are a different shape so I doubt they will look right compared the classy Mark shape, but they bolt in.
