Im sorry its not a lincoln, but once again you guys are the most knowledgeable source that i know of. my gf has an 01 chrysler sebring convertible and the rear defroster terminal has fallen off of the grid. Before i bust out the soldering iron or the cheap fixes, does anyone have any experience repairing these. I have never had a car with this problem and would like some background before i try to fix it. Much appreciated.

Pepsi you are in luck.
:D
There is just such a peoduct to repair the terminal for your rear window defroster.
go to any auto parts store that sells permatex products and they will have or can order a repair kit to fix it, it is a strong resin with copper ground up in it, it comes in a kit just like a rear view mirror adhesive kit comes in.
If I where at work I would give you a part number but I am home.

Ah ha! I found it.
15067 (Quick grid) To repair the grid

21351 (Electrically conductive rear window defogger tad adhesive) To fix the connection

Don't even try to glue it on It will never work you will not likely find a low enough temp solder to do the job with out breaking the glass with the heat you will need to melt it.

Thanks for the feed back steve.

This is going to sound like a stupid question but is the part number for the chrysler dealership?
