Armrest/Center Console Question

Ok, my TC doesn't have any kind of cupholder or compartment in it's armrests. Are the workings of newer TC armrests the same, making it an easy swap? I am going to get the interior redone so everything matches, and would like to know this before I go ahead and do it.

I think they are a bit narrower, so they may look kinda dorky on your 1980s seats. But yeah, don't know why you couldn't bolt them up!

Well do any of the cars have them that I can swap out, not just newer TC's. They can be older, as long as they have some type of option. I could probably even add extra padding before it was re-wrapped to correct the narrow problem.

My 92 TC doesn't have the console either... C'mon and buck up! Be a real man and hold yer beer while ya drive like I do!!!!!
;-P~~~~~ LOL Just kidding! I'd be interested in a fix also. My front seats are both power with individual center armrests. The high rubber window gasket on the door makes it pretty shakey for one of those plastic, slip in the track type cup holders too. The floor types (sand filled saddle bags over the tranny hump) look kind of "wrong" in the car, if ya know what I mean. Looks like we're gonna hafta buy one of those baseball hats that have the holders on each side for 2 cans of beer and that funny looking double plastic straw! :D
