Any suggestions for cleaning the wire-wheels from a Mark 7 BB? Products, brushes, etc.? Looks to be quite an operation with soap, water, and a scrub brush. Yes I'm looking for the easy way out but also don't want to scratch or damage them, and would like to know what will bring out the best shine. Thanks!!!

I found that chrome polish on the hub and any mag wheel polish on the rest of the wheel works very well.

Believe it or not, but its actually not a bad idea to remove the wheel, unbolt the hub, and put all the spokes in a separate box so you can clean all the parts individually and REALLY make them shine.

You can use car wash solution, the same stuff used on the rest of the car to clean the wheel. No touch wheel cleaners are really strong. I stopped using them pretty much, unless I want to clean the back of the wheel. I'd try a toothbrush and a Q tip shaped device if I wasn't going to take the wheel apart.
