Well it may not be an LS V6 sport, but it might be able to put the same numbers down on a roadcourse.

That doesn't make me feel any better. :D

Of course, for the loaded price of $35k, that car is now in the direct line of fire of a loaded Volvo S60, with its turbo-charged 5-cylinder and a much more attractive package, in and out.

By the by, a couple months back that was an out the door price for a loaded '06 S60, brand new on the showroom floor up in Scottsdale.

Lincoln's gonna have some major marketing to do.

I predict the new Zephyr won't last as long (7 years) as the LS. The Zephyr is Lincoln's new Cimmaron or Catera.

If you want a Mazda -- buy a Mazda.

I'd have to agree, DS. The S60 is a totally sweet ride and the Zephyr is just a shameless by-product of corporate cost cutting.

I have seen a couple Z's in stock, I'll probably go for a test drive in a coupla weeks. smile.gif
