Well, help ME design YOUR concept. I do 3d modeling as a hobby, meaning i do alot of car models on the computer, to put it simply. I enjoy remaking cars that already exist, however lately i have been very dissapointed with Lincoln's designs. So, i have decided to make my personal Lincoln concept with the help of all of you guys (and girls?).
So here is what im proposing. Tell me what your favorite lincoln designs are over the entire existance of the company. I would like to see a picture also. And once i get a bunch of posts, im gonna put them all together and hopefully come up with a retro-concept that puts all of lincoln's current ones to shame.
Here are the categories (more to come possibly):
Overall Body
Headlights
Taillights
Wheels
Mirrors
GRILL
Bumper/Fender
Exhaust
The interior i will worry about once i finish the exterior.
Also, here is a link to some of my work to prove that i am rather talented at this and can make something actually worthwhile to lincoln.

Honestly, I think this concept car had a lot of potential for Lincoln...the nose is a bit odd, but the sides and rear SCREAMED Lincoln.

I still think if this car had the new Zephyr's front end on it, it would be a heart stopper.

I'm gonna say that the square, broader rear fenders of the VII, compared with the VIII, gives the car a much more menacing, muscular stance, coupled with wheels that actually filled the rear wheel wells to the outer lines fairly well for being stock. That's one aspect that is totally lacking in the rear of the Mark VIII, and most of today's production cars.
Then add in an IRS and a rear valance with some sort of dual exiting ehaust, either like the later VIII LSC's oblong exhaust tips or maybe even a Chicane style center exhaust.
The wheels used should have visible rubber, no 39" spinner-dubz-spoked-ghetto whatevers. 5 spoke rims always look good, maybe something with split spokes or jagged lines or something.
The front I'd have to go with the VIII's slender, sloping hood and grille with the exception of having a slightly more pronounced raised cowl section and more of a square, broader fender in general, with wheels that fill the wells better.
And bigger, brighter headlights. Ones that might actually allow you to see the road at night.
Then the sides, maybe something along the lines of the classic Lincoln flat sides. Think The French Connection.
