Hi Pro

Does this include my 1937 Lincoln Zephyr V12?

Or my 1991 Kawasaki Zephyr 750?

But who asked you? ;)

Seriously though, we all want LoL to be a place for ALL Lincoln models. The Zephyr will be here soon, and we need to attract would-be Acura buyers with some info on these cars when they hit the Internet looking for the Zephyr.

And yes, I copied this idea from the C6 forum on corvetteforum.com. They had C6 discussions well over a year before we knew anything about the next Vette. We should do the same to keep the forum fresh. smile.gif

Like I wasn't planning on a Zephyr forum before you asked me, smart guy? ;)

Great...both Dereck and DaKat have hijacked the first thread on the Zephyr forum!!!

Course, I own three 1:18th scale Zephyr models, so I approve of this hijack. tongue.gif

Hi Pro

I also forgot about the "Z" cars here in the UK from 1950 - 1972, the last of the Mark iv Zephyrs even had a Lincoln cross for a hood ornament smile.gif

Those Mercury Zephyrs are sorta like mini Thunderbirds :D

Keep the hijacks pertinent to Zephyrs, smarty! tongue.gif

Dereck, they look like Tbirds on purpose. That look sold very well back then!

Zephyr rhyms with heffer, which is a term used to describe a "big girl". Is this Lincoln's attempt to subconsciously market heavyweight ladies?

Had to see what the hell this "Zephyr" post was all about.

Don't some of the Sooners team members drive Zephyrs?

I was watching the barret-jackson auction on speed channel the other day, 38 zephyr with a flathead v-12..

took in $400,000

IIRC, that was the highest bid car, out of the whole auction.

...and of course, the ever lovely Rolex Zephyr, a 50s model noted for the unusual bezel and crosshairs on the dial...

This looks like fun (Not Dirty) (http://www.minnesotazephyr.com/)

I took a ride on the 1880 train that runs thru the Black Hills and it was a blast. :D

That's not a bad Rolex, but the Cosmograph Daytona is more to my liking. It's the hardest to get Rolex in the world if sought in all stainless.

Wow, even got RC over here! smile.gif

I'll add a thread with pics and more to follow. Since its based on the Mazda 6, we already know what to do to make it faster, more reliable, etc...
